The test is free for Camden & Islington residents, who are unemployed. We charge £30 for residents from all other Boroughs and those clients who are working

Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment Ideal for anyone wishing to apply for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Labourer Card (Green Card), necessary to work on a UK construction site. The Labourer Card qualification was developed in partnership with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). The qualification assumes no prior knowledge and considers the fact that learners come from diverse education and employment backgrounds. The training is exceptionally easy to understand and administer. We however email study materials developed by the British Safety Council to candidates prior to them attending the training; this allows them an opportunity for self-study well in advance. Having a valid CSCS card and passing the CITB test are both mandatory requirements of working in the construction industry because they grant employees access to UK construction sites as non-skilled workers. Developed in partnership with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment is regulated by the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
